Srimeti Sittharavi on Rupavahini

Srimeti Sittharavi (Jung Yi, the Goddess of Fire) is telecast on Rupavahini on Mondays and Fridays at 6.30 p.m.

The Sinhala title Sirimeti means porcelain. Jung Yi, the Goddess of Fire is a South Korean historical teledrama directed by Park Sung-Soo and Jung Dae-Yoon. The 32 episode tele-series is a production of the Munhuwa Broadcasting Corporation, starring Moon Geun-Young, Lee Sang-Yoon, Kim Bum and Park Gun-Hyung.


Entries called for Godage Awards

Entries for the Godage National Literary Award Ceremony 2015 have been called from authors who have published novels, short story books and poetry anthologies in English.

Entries can be sent to the Godage Book Emporium, Maradana Road, Colombo 10 before March 31.


Thun Mollu

Buddhika Damayantha's Thun Mollu will be staged at The Lionel Wendt Theatre, Colombo 7 on March 8 at 3.30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

The cast includes Mahendra Weerarathne, Ayesha Dissanayake and Rajitha Hewathanthri.


Evening of creative readings

The Punchi Theatre Arts Circle will hold an "Evening of Creative readings" at the Namel Malini Punchi Theatre, Colombo 8 on February 26 at 3 p.m. The event is open to the public.


Sinhabahu

Prof. Ediriweera Sarachchandra's Sinhabahu will be staged at the Namel Malini Punchi Theatre, Colombo 8 today at 3 p.m. and 6.30 p.m.

The cast includes Sanath Wimalasiri, Janaka Munasinghe, Rajitha Hewathantrige, Nihari Wickramaarachchi, Tharanga Kumari, Lakshani Amarathunge and Ganga Paranavithana.


Maname

Prof. Ediriweera Sarachchandra's Maname will be staged at the Namel Malini Punchi theatre, Colombo 8 on February 27 at 3 p.m. and 6.30 p.m.

The cast includes Janaka Munasinghe, Rajitha Hewathanthrige, Kasun Jayakody, Tharanga Kumari, Lakshani Amarathunge, Ganga Paranavithana, Hiran Nisha de Costa, Chaminda Mirihagalla and Upamali Ranathunge.


Magul Parasthava

Prof. Ediriweera Sarachchandra's Magul Parasthava and Ekata Mata Hina Hina will be staged at the Yovun Rangahala, Anuradhapura on February 26 at 8.30 a.m. and 10.45 a.m.

The cast includes Prasannajith Abeysuriya, Supun Tharanga, Dheerasinghe, Rasika Jayalath, Nayana Hettiarachchi, Dhanushika Dias, Chamara Prasad and Tharanga Bandara.


Gaebbara Minisa

Sriyantha Mendis's Gaebbara Minisa will be staged at St. Anthony's College auditorium, Katugastota, Kandy on March 1 at 3.30 p.m. and 6.30 p.m.

The cast includes Sriyantha Mendis, Kusum Renu, Sarath Kothalawela, Wasantha Vittachchi, Malkanthi Jayasinghe, Sujeewa Priyalal and Mihiri Priyangani.


Rukada Rajje

Priyantha Ranjan's Rukada Rajje will be staged at the Namel Malini Punchi Theatre, Colombo 8 on February 28 at 3.30 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. The cast includes Vijaya Nandasiri, Sarath Kulanga, Gamini Ambalangoda, Fernie Roshini, Sunil Thilakaratne, Kumara Liyanage, Damayantha Perera and Tharanga Bandara.
