Minister to meet media personnel

Mass Media and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Gayantha Karunathilake will meet all print and electronic media personnel on March 5 at 9.00 a.m. at the Southern Media Centre, Municipal Trade Centre, Galle.

Intl. Women's Day in Anuradhapura

International Women's Day 2015 will be held on March 8 in Anuradhapura, under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe. Kanthawata Yahapath Ratak (A better country for the women) will be this year's theme under which various programs will be launched in the Divisional Secretary's Divisions.

AGM of Ananda Shasthralaya OBA

The Annual General Meeting of the Junior Old Boys' Association of Mathugama Ananda Shasthralaya National School will be held today at 2.00 p.m. at the school auditorium. New Office-bearers for the year 2015 will be elected.

The principal and patron of the Association Randun Jayalath, Primary School Principal Samantha Wijenayake organised the meeting.

R.L. Clement will hold his 32nd annual Mal-Mee Cake show today at the Devon Rest, Kandy. Clement and his daughter Shanika with their pupils will present another show on March 7 and 8 from 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. at the BMICH.
