Viva Ginger completes consumer activation program
With the launch of Viva Ginger, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) is optimistic
about growing its market share within the malted food drink category.
Malted food drink brand Viva, recently completed a three-month,
islandwide consumer activation program' Viva Ginger - Rasa Gamma'. Over
260,000 consumers enjoyed a cup of Viva Ginger beverage free.
The grand finale of Viva Ginger Rasa Gamma activation was held at
Zoysapura grounds, Moratuwa. A large gathering of consumers were part of
this event. There were many energy games for consumers to display their
energy. The new Viva Ginger flavour combines the goodness of milk and
malt with the comforting taste of ginger flavour, which has been
specially tailor-made for Sri Lankan palates.
The company took this initiative to make Viva Ginger accessible to as
many consumers as possible through competitive pricing and islandwide
distribution, so that all Sri Lankans can enjoy a refreshing and
energising cup of tea. "Today, Sri Lankans can experience a refreshing
tasty cup of tea by adding Viva Ginger to their plain tea," said Viva
Brand Manager, Mohan Gamage.
