Lawrence House champs with 502 points

Lawrence House with 502 points won the 136th Inter-house Sports Meet of Kandy Girls High School held at the Bogambara stadium.

The table of points: 1. Lawrence House 502 points, 2. Langdan House 501 points, 3. Sanson House 494 points, 4. Eaton House 484 points.

Former Lake House journalist Mrs. Rosemary Moonemale Weeraratne was the chief guest and she distributed the main awards.

The invitation relay for girls schools was won by Mahamaya Girls College and in the event for boys school, St. Sylvester won the relay.

In the main age group event the under 19 joint champions were Pooni Ratnayake (Eaton House) and Hirunika Siriwardene of Lawrence House.

The best performance award was won by Chanchala Dissanayake of Eaton House.
