HR Awards:
LOLC wins Silver for professionals
LOLC won a Silver award at the HRP awards ceremony organised by the
Human Resources Professionals Sri Lanka recently. After three of LOLC
finance companies were ranked among the best five corporates to work for
in Sri Lanka in 2013, LOLC continued to be rewarded and recognised in
the recent past.

LOLC being a firm believer in nurturing its human capital was
rewarded with a 'Gold Award' at the People Development Awards in 2013,
organised by the Sri Lanka Institute of Training and Development.
LOLC's harmonious industrial atmosphere was felicitated at the
recently held islandwide competition for workplace co-operation and
social dialogue, organised by the Department of Labour and was selected
as the winner under Service Sector large scale category.
"At LOLC we have created a learning culture within the Group, where
ample opportunities are available for every employee to develop their
knowledge and skills and competencies and their career paths
horizontally and vertically within the Group," said the Group Managing
Director and CEO, Kapila Jayawardena.
Group Head, Human Resources, Pradeep Uluwaduge said that LOLC has a
