Ananda meet D.S.Senanayake in Singer Cup final today

Ananda College Colombo will meet D.S. Senanayake College Colombo in the final of ‘Singer Cup’ Under 19 All island inter schools limited overs cricket tournament today (5) at P. Sara overs stadium Colombo. Ananda College will be led by Sammu Ashan D.S. Senanayake College will be led by Harith Madhuwantha and Ananda beat Tissa Central Kalutara, St. Anthony’s Wattala and St. Joseph Vaz Wennappuwa in the league round and advanced to the pre quarter final round as group champions.

Ananda beat Isipathana in the second round. and beat St. Peter’s Bambalapitiya in the quarter final.

Ananda beat depending champion Thurstan by 14 runs according D/L system in the semi final. D.S. Senanayake College beat S. De S. Jayasinghe Central Dehiwala, St. Sebastian’s Moratuwa and Maliyadeva Kurunegala in the legue and advanced to the pre quarter final round as group champion. D.S. Senanayake beat Prince of Wales College Moratuwa in the pre quarer final round. D. S. Senanayake beat St. Peter’s College Bambalapitiyain in the quarter final match. D.S. Senanayake College Colombo beat Trinity College Kandy by 7 wickets in the semi final.
