Both teams look for first win

Vijitha Central College, Dikwella will host Rajapaksa Central College Weeraketiya at their school ground for the Sixth Golden Battle of Ruhuna on the 7th and 8th of April. Both teams would be looking forward to register the first win of the series.

Vijitha Central College is led by Gayan Nigamuni and comprises of Amal Udayanga Ishara Kavindu Gihanjana, Amila Dushan, Lahiru Sandaruwan, Amal Prasad, Sasindu Anuranga, Hiruna Muthukumarana, Sujitha Mihisuru, Malinda Malshan, Praveen Thulanjana, Janidu Bandara, Navod Dilan, Daham Venusara and Ushan Avindu. Yasanga Madhusara leads the Rajapaksa Central College team which is made up of Sandeepa Akalanka, V G Chamika Shehan, N A Janitha Malith, H A Dilisha Shehan, P G M Suraj Dilankara, K B Tharindu Ushan, W Hasitha Randika, M A Kamal Kalana, M G P Sandeepa Nayanasara, S Kusal Vidath, H W A Pasan Thushara, W A Pamudu Hashira, K H Udara Hansak and A P Thilan Chathumina.

Mahela Nambuhewa's 103 not out made in 2013 is the highest individual score by a batsman while Rajapaksa Centrals Charith Sawaththara's six wicket haul in 2011 is the highest number of wickets by a bowler in one innings.
