Transformative CSR, the way forward- Dr. Visser

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) will be the one of the key factors in the way businesses will be run in the future. Companies around the world will soon be involving themselves in Transformative CSR, Director, Kaleidoscope Futures, Dr. Wayne Visser told the forum for CEOs on 'Making CSR part of your Company's DNA', in Colombo recently.

Addressing CEOs on the theme 'Principles and practices of stakeholder-oriented Transformative CSR', he said, "Companies today have to give back to society more than just a part of the profits.

Today, people ask - how and what every product is made of, how employees are treated, safety record and a host of other questions, which makes organisations more responsible towards society."

Earlier the principle of capitalism was only concerned about profits. Today that principle does not work anymore, he said.
