NCCSL Business Excellence Summit in June

The objective of the event is to raise the level of excellence in Sri Lankan organisations. The second event, Team Excellence competition will be held on June 5 and 6.

The second National Business Excellence Summit (NBES 2015) organised by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) will be held from June 5-6 at the BMICH.

The summit will include two major events i.e. Business Excellence Stream where Gold award winners of the National Business Excellence Awards 2014 will make presentations on June 5 highlighting their journey of excellence, the commitment made and specifically highlighting areas in which they excelled.

Applications are welcome from organisations for Quality Circles and Quality Improvement Teams. Evaluations will be in four separate sections; Quality Circles and Quality Improvement Teams at non-executive level in manufacturing and service industries, and Quality and Continuous Improvement at executive level in manufacturing and service industries.

Companies could also submit quality and productivity slogans, posters and Kaizen projects for the competition.

There will be events for schools which include debates, quiz and Quality Circle presentations.

The awards ceremony of the NBES 2015 will be held on June 6 at the BMICH.
