Investment conference , AGM
The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) with the South Asian Federation of
Exchanges (SAFE) will host the South Asian Investment Conference and
SAFE Annual General Meeting today and tomorrow in Colombo.
Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake, Deputy Minister of Policy
Planning, Economic Affairs, Child, Youth and Cultural Affairs, Dr.
Harsha de Silva, Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission of
Sri Lanka, Tilak Karunaratne and Chairman of the CSE Vajira Kulatilaka
are due to attend.
NCC seminar on CEPA
The National Chamber of Commerce (NCC) has organised an awareness
seminar on titled 'CEPA and its implications on Sri Lanka's Economy' on
Wednesday from 3.00 p.m to 5.00 p.m at the Chamber auditorium, D.R.
Wijewardene Mawatha, Colombo 10.
High level Government officials and prominent business leaders from
the private sector will address the session and air their views.
Deputy Minister of Policy Planning and Economic Affairs, Dr Harsha de
Silva and Director General of Commerce R D S Kumararatne will also be
present.
SriLankan Airlines launches knowledge portal
SriLankan Airlines has introduced a knowledge management system, one
of the first in the corporate sector in Sri Lanka. Branded as yoULink
and themed 'connect, collaborate, share and learn'.
yoULink is a knowledge portal, a type of knowledge management system
that strives to provide a 'one-stop knowledge shop', which is a single
point of access to the knowledge available in an organisation (or even
beyond), reused in such a way that it is useful and applicable for a
knowledge-seeking user. |
