A blessing to Sri Lanka!

The bud of Christianity
The fountain of charisma
A prophet of justice
For all Catholics.
He is none other than
His Holiness Pope Francis I
From Buenos Aires, Argentina
To being a chemical technician
God drove him to His path
All of a sudden.
Our shepherd, our mentor, our strength,
That God bestowed upon us
His actions speak louder than words
For he is humble and concerned about the poor.
Nor does he reside in the papal apartments
Or wear his traditional papal mozetta cape
He has refused all comforts for he is
But a person walking the footsteps of Christ.
An Italian so badly disfigured
From the deadly neurofibromatosis
Was noticed by Pope Francis
In one of his huge audiences
Out of compassion, love and kindness
He spread out his arms only to hug that person.
Such is his personality
Such is his greatness
May the Lord protect him always
And enlighten him with His spirit.

Silver moon

Slowly, silently, now the moon
Walks in the night in her silver shoon;
This way and that, she peers and sees
Silver fruits upon silver trees;
One by one the casements catch,
Her beams beneath the silvery thatch;
Couched in his kennel, like a log,
With paws of a silver sleepy dog.
From their shadowy coat the white breasts peep
Of doves in a silver-feathered sleep;
A harvest mouse goes scampering by,
With silver claws and silver eyes;
And motionless fish in the water gleam,
By the silver reeds in a silver stream.

The teacher

A person who loves children a lot,
And with a smile on the face every moment,
Good and loveable,
Such a valuable knowledge giver.
The guide of the correct path,
Talented and efficient,
Smart, air to all and friendly,
And helpful to all her loving students.
With your kindness you attract my attention,
You give your time, your knowledge and share your skills and talents,
You do all that with a pleasant and willing attitude,
And, so dear teacher you have my gratitude.

If I were a fairy...

I can go to the fairy world,
And enjoy with fairies,
I can wear beautiful frocks and jewellery,
And come to the human world.
In the midnight,
When the full moon shines,
I can keep gifts to the children,
Under their pillows.
And dance with my friends,
Then I can go to my world,
And invite the Sun,
To light up the human world,
With his bright rays.
