Trinitian Raveen Sayer takes lead in Platinum Contest

Raveen Sayer of Trinity College, Kandy (5,213) took over the lead from Peterite Lakshina Rodrigo (5106) with majority of 107 votes in the Platinum Contest for division 1 schools at the end of the 7th week in the Sunday Observer/Mobitel Most Popular Schoolboy Cricketer Of The Year Contest 2015.

Sayer has been a consistent performer for his school Trinity this year. Laksina Rodrigo and Charith Asalanka too have performed impressively and the tussle between the trio is no doubt getting intensified.

There are two more new entrants .In the Platinum Category Ruchira Pupulewatte of Dharmaraja College, Kandy and in the Silver for division 111 schools Charith Jayaratne of Christ Church College Matale has taken the fifth place polling 168 votes.
