Hotel Management Conference concludes on high note
The National Hotel Management Conference (NHMC 2015), the inaugural
conference organised by the Ceylon Hotel School Graduates Association,
was held from May 12-13 at the Taj Samudra Hotel.

Director and COO, LAHRC Management Services and Reefs Edge, veteran
hotelier Upul Gamage facilitated a review session covering each day's
modules thereby enabling the participants to interact with all speakers
on issues that needed clarifications.
Chairman, Hotel Committee, Nishantha Manawadu said the overwhelming
response reflected the commitment of the hospitality professionals to
update their knowledge on evolving best practices.
"We were surprised by the response we received from practising
hoteliers who wished to listen and interact with the speakers who
represented a wide spectrum of subject areas of critical importance to
any hotelier," he added.
Project Leader, NHMC 2015, Sunil Dissanayake said NHMC 2015
successfully dealt with many important and timely topics that are
relevant to the hospitality industry.
He said the conference agenda featured presentations and panel
discussions with a wide cross-section of leading industry innovators and
thought leaders on topics covering national, regional and global issues
relating to the travel and hospitality industry from strategic and
operational perspectives.
The Ceylon Hotel School Graduates Association (CHSGA) in a media
release said that it hopes to make further improvements to the format
and presentation of next year's conference and extends an invitation to
industry stakeholders to cooperate with the CHSGA in this endeavour. |
