WOMAN

Poster Competition and Exhibition 2015:

The European Union Delegation in Colombo in partnership with High the Commission of Canada, Embassy of France, Embassy of Switzerland and Agenda 14 will present 'WOMAN Poster Competition and Exhibition 2015' at the Lionel Wendt Gallery from May 26 to 28. Selected posters from nearly 300 entries received from all over the island, will be displayed at exhibition which is being held for the second time in Sri Lanka.

The competition was held under two categories; Children and Open. Winners will be given awards and cash prizes at the opening of the exhibition on May 25th evening, with Mrs Jezima Ismail as the Chief Guest of the Ceremony.

The Organisers hope to create awareness on gender issues among children and public by organising this exhibition and they will be launching a picture postcard campaign to create more awareness on the issues late this week. Post cards carry the images of the winning entries from last year's Woman poster competition.
