The new leak-proof pants, known as THINX, are set to revolutionize
the market. Designed by three women including one Indian in New York -
Miki Agrawal, her twin sister Radha and friend Antonia Dunbar - these
pants are made by women in Sri Lanka.
These absorbent pants look like ordinary knickers.They are divided
into three categories: thongs (for light flow days), 'cheeky' (for
medium flow) and hip hugger (heavy flow) styles.The pants are even
patented, have four ultra-thin micro-layers, are hygienic and washable,
and can hold up to two tampons' worth of liquid (five teaspoons worth).
