Thomians’ regain Archibald Perera trophy

S’Thomas beat the high riding St. Peterites to clinch the Achibald Perera Memorial trophy by 25 (1 Goal, 3 Tries , 1 Penalty ) to 17 ( 1 Goal, 2 Tries ) in their Singer schools under 20 rugby match played at Bambalapitiya.yesterday.

At half time S.Thomas’ were leading 10 points to 8.

For the Thomians tries were scored by their number eight SachithaJayathilaka- two, 2nd Row and captain Harith Senanayake – One and winger H.K.Naveen- One.

While scrum half Dion Dias made One conversion and put over two penalties.

Vice captain and centre Nishon Perera – Two and winger Harshana Peiris –

One scored the tries for the Peterites. Fly half Sandesh Jayawickrema made One conversion for them.
