99X Technology won five awards at the Best Companies To Work For 2015
awards ceremony - the highest number of accolades to be awarded to a
single company in Sri Lanka by the Great Place To Work(r) Institute.
99X Technology has been ranked on the prestigious index for three
consecutive years, since its launch in 2013. In addition to being ranked
as one of Sri Lanka's top 20 best companies to work for, the company
picked up category awards for Best Practice in Developing (people
development) and for Best Practice in Employee Recognition, and won gold
in the Medium Sized Enterprise category.
99X Technology was also recognised for being the first and only Sri
Lankan company to be adjudged one of Asia's Top 25 Best Small and Medium
Sized Workplaces for 2015.
"Being on the Index for the third time has not diminished our sense
of achievement but in fact has increased it as more and more companies
apply to be a part of the ranking every year. It also reflects a
paradigm shift across industries - a change in organisational culture -
with companies striving to better their workplaces for their people,"
said co-founder and CEO, 99X Technology, Mano Sekaram.
"This is a step in the right direction given the country's drive for
economic development and recognition as a talent hub in the global
marketplace," he said.
"Further, being the first IT company to be ranked on the Index in
2013, we take pride in being pioneers in creating great workplaces and
are honoured at the continuing recognition, all of which would not have
been possible without the determination and passion of our people,"
Sekaram said.
