ComBank reaffirms support for nature

The CSR Trust of the Commercial Bank sponsored the publication of a book on the biodiversity and environment of Sri Lanka to encourage initiatives that increase awareness of the subjects and the importance of environment protection.

Authored by naturalists and journalists Sudath Abeysinghe and Jayantha Jayewardene of the Biodiversity and Elephant Conservation Trust (BECT), the recently-launched book contains information on numerous aspects including the environment, geographical formations of Sri Lanka, its biodiversity and inheritances and the issues confronting the environment.
