Trinity beat Joes 36-24

Trinity College Kandy beat St. Joseph’s College by 36 points ( 4 goals, 1 Try , 1 Penalty) to 24 ( 3 Goals, 1 Penalty) in their inter school singer league rugby match played at CRand FC grounds in Longden place yesterday. The winners led 12 points to 7 at the breather.

For Trinity centre Rayan Weerakoon A. Edirisinghe, D. Dange, Alahakoon and scrum-half Anuk Boyagoda scored a try each for Trinity while S. Abeywickrema made one conversion and put over a solitary penalty while L. Wijesuriya made three conversions.

Prop Stefan Gregory, S. Chathuranga and scrum-half Vimukthi Rahula scored One try apiece for the losing Joes while their full back Shamilka Kurumbalapitiya made three conversions and put over a penalty.

S. Thomas edge out Kingswood

S. Thomas College Mt.Lavinia beat Kingswood College Kandy by 22 points (1goal, 3 tries) to 21 (1 goal,1 try, 3 penalties) in their inter-school singer league rugby match played at Havelock Park yesterday.

Science College Mt.Lavinia beat St. Peters College Bambalapitiya by 34 points (3 goal, 2 tries, 1 penalty) to 3 (1 penalty) in their inter-school singer league rugby match played at St. Peters grounds in Bambalapitiya yesterday.
