EMP, principal sponsor of 'Construct 2015'

Electro Metal Pressings (EMP), a company in the engineering construction industry, will be the principal sponsor of 'Construct 2015' which will be held for the 15th consecutive year on the theme 'Build Your Dreams'.

Organised by the National Construction Association of Sri Lanka (NCASL) and endorsed by the Ministry of Housing and Samurdhi, the exhibition from August 28-30 at the BMICH.

Chairman, EMP Group, Chandranandana Diyunuge said, "We are delighted to sponsor and extended our support to one of the most attractive trade exhibitions in the country.''

''We look forward to increasing our range of products and services to the construction industry which is set for high growth with recent changes in government policies especially after the passing the Construction Act in Parliament in December,'' he said.

Founded in 1982, EMP manufactures internationally accredited casings and panel boards, cable management systems, computer data racks and other related customised electrical and electronic products while operating four subsidiaries to provide a total solution to the engineering construction industry.

This includes EMP PVA Technology, a provider of PVC pipes, conduits and accessories custom-built to the demands of the building industries and homesteads, AKLAN International, an accredited trading company supplying world-renowned electrical components, OMATA Water Management, an expert service provider for the water and sanitation sector and electricity and petroleum sector and EMP Projects Lanka, a company dedicated to deliver turnkey projects using high-tech engineering solutions.
