Patient appeals for "O" group kidney

Forty-three-year-old P.A.Athula Padmasiri of 274/5, Eksath Mawatha, Siyambalape is suffering from a severe kidney ailment.

Consultant Nephrologist A.L.M. Nazaar of the Colombo National Hospital has recommended immediate transplant, for which a 'O' group kidney is needed.

'Geethrath' today

The Namnadu Natpanip Peravai has organised popular singer Kalai Kamal's 33rd Geethrath Islamic musical program today, July 26 at 6.30 p.m. at the J.R. Jayawardene Cultural Centre, Colombo. The late popular Indian singer E.M. Haniffa's Islamic songs and that of Samoogajothi M.M. Rafeek will be sung by Kalai Kamal along with Mueena Mohideen Baig and T.S. Muruges.

Music will be Ameer Ali and his group.

Heart patient appeals for help

Fifty-seven-year old Rohan Gunasekara of Kekirideniya Road, Hewagaam, Kaduwela is suffering from Triple Vessel Disease of the heart.

Consultant Cardiologist Dr. Vajira Senaratne and Resident Cardiologist Dr. Prakash Priyadarshan of the National Hospital of Sri Lanka, have recommended immediate cardiac surgery.
