Vandersay in squad for India tour

Leg spinner Jeffrey Vandersay has been picked into a 15-member Development Squad to contest what Sri Lanka Cricket said was a Moin-Ud-Dowlah Gold Cup to be played in Hyderabad, India.

The team will be led by Milinda Siriwardena.

Vandersay showed promise when he took eight wickets in a three-day match against Pakistan but did not play a part in the subsequent Test series which Sri Lanka lost and was thrown only into the T20 squad.Sri Lanka Development Squad:
