EAP Group to set up entertainment centres

Officials at the ground-breaking ceremony

Galaxy Landmarks, a part of the EAP Group, recently conducted a ground-breaking ceremony to launch construction work on the Galaxy Impala Complex in Rajagiriya.

Galaxy Landmarks, a fully owned subsidiary of the EAP Group, focuses on the development of cinema and retail/commercial complexes, which serve as one-stop entertainment and shopping destinations.

The Galaxy Impala is the first of a series of cinema multiplexes cum retail/commercial complexes that Galaxy Landmarks hopes to construct. The Galaxy Impala Complex will serve as an entertainment hub for the whole family and will feature four, state-of-the-art cinemas with the latest digital technology, which will be operated by EAP Films and Theatres.

Chairman and Managing Director, EAP Group of Companies, Mano Tittawella said, "We hope that this development project will revolutionize the entertainment landscape and will strengthen our position as a dynamic conglomerate."

"We are encouraged by the Government's policy of offering incentives and benefits to construct cinema multiplexes," he said.
