Thomians undisputed junior champs
The champion S. Thomas’ College squad comprising Delon

Yehen Dias, Yohan Perera, Thevin Eriyagama, Semal
Samarawickrema, Bhagya Dissanayake, Shenuk Perera, Mohammed
Ishak, Shalin De Mel, Bhanuka Wanniarachchi, Ashendra
Rajadurai, Mohammed Raji, Thineth Rabel, Sanruk Weerasinghe,
Gevin Boteju, Ranuk Gunawardena and Dilmin Ratnayake poses
for a ceremonial picture after winning the Under-15 cricket
title along with their College head Rev Fr Mark Billimoria.
They were coached by Dinesh Kumarasinghe (head) and Lasitha

S. Thomas' College Mount Lavinia emerged champion of the 'Singer
Trophy' Under 15 division one inter school cricket tournament yesterday
as they beat St.Sebastian's College Moratuwa by six wickets in the final
played at the MCA ground in Colombo.
St.Sebastian's College won the toss and elected to bat only to be
bowled out for 103 runs in 45.5 overs.
Thomian Delon Pieris took 3 wickets for 10 runs while Dinith
Wanniarachchi took 3 for 18 runs to seal the fate of the Sebastianites.
The Thomians reached the target in 35.2 overs as Yohan Perera scored
60 in 78 balls with 10 boundaries. He was adjudicated man of the final.
