Kelani Cables wins Asia's Best Employer Brand award
Kelani Cables PLC, won the 'Asia's Best Employer Brand award in
Singapore recently. The company competed with 33 countries to clinch
this award.

The annual award ceremony is hosted by Employer Brands Institute and
World HRD Congress with CHRO Asia as the strategic partner. Asia's Best
Employer Brand award is endorsed by the Asian Federation of Business.
An internationally recognized panel of judges comprising
professionals from Asia selects the winners each year.
CEO Mahinda Saranapala said that the award has endorsed the HR policy
practices of his company.
"Kelani Cables continues to be one of top brands in secure electrical
and communication cables in Sri Lanka. This goes hand-in-hand with our
HR policy and code of conduct. Thus Asia's Best Employer Brand award
2015 will add immense credibility to our products and the HR policy of
the company. This brings to the fore the determination of our employees
to offer superior products to customers," he said.
Kelani Cables PLC is a hundred percent Sri Lankan company serving the
nation for over four decades, manufacturing electrical and communication
cables. It is the recipient of ISO 9000:2008 for quality, ISO 14001:2004
for better environment management, National Standards award and the gold
winner of Taiki Akimoto 5S award.
