eZ cash withdrawals at ComBank ATMs

Dialog Axiata's Mobile money service, eZ Cash, has partnered with Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC, to enable eZ Cash customers withdraw money from selected ATMs islandwide. The service will be extended to all ATMs of Commercial Bank soon.

In addition to the 16,000 retail points, eZ Cash account holders can withdraw money at their convenience from any Commercial Bank ATMs displaying the eZ Cash logo. The minimum withdrawal value is Rs. 100 and the maximum is Rs. 5,000 during a single transaction.

Through the partnership between Commercial Bank and eZ Cash, the bank has enabled mobile banking customers with eZ Cash accounts, the flexibility to top up their mobile wallets via a mobile and online portal.

"The strategic partnership with Commercial Bank of Ceylon is testimony to our promise of delivering convenience and greater flexibility to over two million registered users of the eZ Cash mobile money service, where even the non-banked eZ Cash customers can withdraw cash from the ATMs," said, Vice President, Digital Services at Dialog Axiata, Fariq Cader.

"Partnerships such as this demonstrate how we are at the heart of accelerating convergence between the online and offline segments for commerce and extend them to many more segments in the future," he said.

Deputy General Manager - Marketing, Commercial Bank, Hasrath Munasinghe said, "We always look at ways of providing convenience to customers."

eZ Cash customers can deposit, send and receive money and conduct transactions at over 20,000 eZ Cash points islandwide, inclusive of top up, withdrawals, institutional payments to over 180 online/web merchants. They can also pay utility bills and insurance premia via eZ Cash.
