Micro financing for U'grads in the US

Danindu Udalamaththa's proposal for a Micro-grant system for
university students in the US, which was initially accepted for CGI-U
(Clinton Global Initiative - University Conference), held in Miami in
March 2015, was also selected for CGI-America, the professional's
conference was held recently. From among the 10 proposals submitted by
10 University students in 10 specific categories for discussion at the
conference; Danindu's proposal on Financial Opportunity was selected for
discussion.
The selected students also had an opportunity to meet former US
President Bill Clinton.
Professionals in many fields, including financial analysts, green
building, economists and policy analysts from all parts of the US
attended the conference. Danidu's discussion board comprised economists
from the University of Washington-St Luis.
His project focused on increasing financial opportunities for
university students through receive micro-loans for emergency funding.
