Rugby Rumble quarter finalists emerge

Old Bens recorded the day's highest score when they beat Joes Blue 30-0 in the Rugby Rumble tournament which got underway at the CR and FC ground at Longden Place yesterday.

The second highest score was recorded by Science when they beat Wesley Double Blues 25-0.

Old Bens along with Ananda, Zahira, Science, Wesley, Thomian Blues, Royal and Kingswood will meet in the quarter finals of the Over-20 Cup championship at the same venue today with proceedings scheduled to start from 2pm onwards.

In the Over-40 Cup segment, Wesley, Royal, Lumbini, Green Machine, Green Legends, Joes Stars, Lanka Lions and Velocity entered the quarter finals.
