Lake House athletes win medals

Athletes of Lake House Sport Club excelled at the recently concluded 32nd Ritzbury Mercantile Athletic Championships organized by the Sri Lanka Mercantile Athletic Federation and held at the Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium in Homagama. The team which won nine gold medals, five silver medals and three bronze medals comprised KDIP Namasiri (100 metres Silver, 200 metresGold and 400 metres Silver), HA Chaminda Lal (5,000 metres Bronze), HRD Uminda (800 metres Bronze and 4x400 Gold), JNNS Kumara (800 metres Gold and 1,500 metres Gold), PDL Somasiri (4x400 Gold), A. Sudasinghe 110 metres hurdles Gold, 400 metres hurdle triple jump Gold and 4x400 Gold), Udula Indra Peiris (200 metres Silver and 110 metres hurdles Bronze), Sanjeevi Jayasuriya 100 metres Silver.
