EFS Facilities Services Lanka launched

The Dubai based EFS Facilities Services Group (EFS), a leading Integrated Facilities Management, Operation and Maintenance Solution provider last week launched a new venture in Sri Lanka, the EFS Facilities Services Lanka (Pvt) Ltd.

The EFS has over a decade of facilities management experience to deliver solutions to a diverse base of clients throughout the Middle Eastern, African and South Asian countries.

The EFS has over 10,000 employees operating in 23 countries in the region and supports clients in over 75 service lines such as facility management including utilities and infrastructure management and building services management, technical operations and maintenance, soft services including janitorial, lifeguard, waste management, landscaping, commissioning and transition management including defects liability and FM consultation management.

Other services including real estate and property management, energy environment management, disaster recovery and business continuity and hospitality support services.

Group CEO, EFS Facility Services, Tariq Chauhan outlined the current economy development in Sri Lanka and said the country needs facility management services for future development activities.

“Sri Lanka has tremendous scope for facilities management supported by a robust economy and this has attracted lot of world-wide multinational companies and our objective is to extend regional services soon,”

Chief Operating Officer, EFS South Asia, Rohit Kapoor said that EFS has entered the Sri Lankan market by undertaking some prestigious projects that are now in progress.

“As the country is fast developing, our organization also expects more clients in the future,” he said.

Kapoor said, “Ours is a professionally managed organization and we are proud to be associated with some of the well-known multinationals for its diversified integrated facilities management needs.”

EFS, Operations Manager, Mohamed Tharuj said EFS Operational teams in Sri Lanka comprise highly experienced personnel who have received training of international standard.

He said EFS Group manages over 300 contracts globally and expects to undertake services in many Sri Lankan commercial and residential buildings in the future.

The EFS operates in over 20 countries including the UAE, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Algeria, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Jordan, Kuwait, KSA, Egypt, Lebanon, Qatar and Kenya.
