The Beach Boutique re-opens after mega investment

The Beach Boutique in Pamunugama was reopened recently after refurbishment. The property built in 2003 was designed by renowned architect Channa Daswatte of Geoffrey Bawa fame.

The hotel was reopened by Chairman, Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, Dr. Rohantha Athukorala and Partner, MICD Associates, Channa Daswatte.

The Beach Boutique website, www.beachboutique.lk was also launched by the chief guest.

Dr. Rohantha Athukorala said, “Hotels such as The Beach Boutique play an important role in servicing up-market international tourists and local guests. The Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau is taking steps to make strategic decisions and investments to take Sri Lanka forward as a tourism destination. We have enlisted the help of seven of the most prestigious advertising agencies in the world to help us to fulfill this endeavor and build the Sri Lanka Tourism brand. I hope our efforts will yield a high return on investment that will benefit the tourism trade, including hotels such as The Beach Boutique which have a differentiated offering.”

The Beach Boutique is now geared to support Sri Lanka’s rapid tourism growth and will help service up-market tourists and local guests alike.
