Cardinal Ranjith to represent Pope in Mumbai

Pope Francis has nominated His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith as his special envoy to attend the National Eucharistic Congress of India, from November 12-15 in Mumbai, India.

Arrangements are being finalized by the Catholic Bishops Conference of India under the auspices of His Eminence Oswald Cardinal Gracias, Archbishop of Bombay and the President of the Federation of Asian Bishops Conference.

His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith will represent the Pope at this celebration and is expected to preside over the Holy Eucharist.
