Guinness world record attempt for largest tea party

Maliban Smart Cream Cracker was the official biscuit at Sri Lanka’s attempt to set up a Guinness World Record for the largest tea party. The attempt was made in Kandy by APOT.Asia with the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau and the Sri Lanka Tea Board.

The attempt was made during the Esala perahera, where spectators were offered cups of tea to set the record. Maliban, as the official biscuit for the event, provided Smart Cream Crackers to all participants to complement the tea party and the festivities.

The flagship brand of Maliban Biscuit Manufactories - Maliban Smart Cream Cracker - has been receiving overwhelming customer feedback following the improvement of the biscuit. With an improved taste, the new Smart Cream Cracker is well received by everyone, a company spokesman said.
