Poems Dear teacher...
A few nasty things,
We may have uttered.
Some naughty rumours,
We may have spurred.
Putting aside our,
Mischief and pranks,
Today we just want
To say Thanks.
The truth is that,
We respect you a lot.
Every day we've embraced,
All that you've taught!
Reading
There is no such
thing as a child
who hates to read;
there are only
children who
have not
found the right
book.

A plateful of pancakes
Spread the butter!
Pour the syrup!
Pancakes always
Make me cheer up.
Flip them over,
Toss them back,
Fill my plate up,
With a stack!

The perfect cup of cocoa
The perfect cup of cocoa,
Is rich and chocolatey,
And always warm, but not too hot...
A steaming chocolate sea.
The surface is enclosed beneath,
A thick marshmellow mound,
Which melts into a gooey cloud,
Without the slightest sound.
A whipped cream swirl extends beyond,
The surface of the cup,
And chocolate sprinkles add,
The perfect touch to dress it up.
The perfect cup of cocoa,
Is like an old best friend...
It's warm; it's sweet; it's such a treat,
And yummy till the end.

Coins
Penny, penny,
Easily spent.
Copper brown
And worth one cent.
Nickel, nickel,
Thick and fat.
You're worth five cents,
I know that.
Dime, dime,
Little and thin.
I remember,
You're worth ten.
Quarter, quarter,
Big and bold.
You're worth twenty-five
I'm told.
