Workshop on 'Stress and the mind'
A workshop on 'Stress and the mind' organised by the Young Muslim
Women's League (YMWL) will be held on Sunday October 18 at the Alliance
Francaise De Colombo, 18, Barnes Place Colombo. It will be held in two
sessions - the first session will be held from 9a.m. to 12 noon and the
second session will be held from 2p.m. to 5p.m.
Shyama Fuad (BSc (Psych & Sociology), Grad Dip (App Psych), MPET

Priest appeals for kidney
Rev. Ranjit Perera, (76) a retired Anglican priest of Madapatha,
Piliyandala is in need of a 'B' Group kidney for immediate transplant,
as recommended by Nephrologist Dr. Chinthana Galahitiyawa of the Sri
Jayewardenapura Hospital. Rev. Perera appeals to a kind donor, ideally

Ladies College Old Girls' AGM
Ladies College Old Girls' Association will hold its 106th Annual
General Meeting on Saturday, October17 at 10 am at the New Town Hall.
Breakfast and fellowship will commence at 8.30 am and tickets are

The 30th Annual General Meeting of the Past Telecom Lady Officers
Benefit Association will be held at the Concord Grand, Galle Road,
Dehiwala, today (4) at 10.00 a.m. Ayomi Aluvihare Gunawardene,
recognised as one of the 50 Most Powerful Women of Sri Lanka by the
Echelon Magazinet will be the Chief Guest.
