Tennis promotion
Under the Tennis Development Project the Sri Lanka Tennis Association
conducted a coaching camp at the Kandy Garden Club Tennis Courts on
September 28 and 29 where over 100 players, boys and girls participated.
Prasanna Athauda coordinator of the National Tennis Development
project conducted the camp assisted by Jayalath Manatunge and
K.Sudarshan. Athauda is a Level 2 coach who is the tennis coach of Royal
College and Thurstan College, Colombo.
Manatunge has represented Sri Lanka at the Para Olympics held in
Greece in the year 2004.
