Oppo smartphone - dealer convention

The Oppo smartphone branch in Sri Lanka hosted its first dealer's convention in Colombo where the company presented the Mirror 5 and R7 series for the first time in the country. The smarphone entered the Sri Lankan market in August.

"We firmly believe that every single product we launch in Sri Lanka represents our ethos of 'the Art of Living'," said Overseas Brand Manager, Oppo, Kevin Law.

Market Sales Director, Oppo, Craig Cao said, "As a new brand in Sri Lanka, and the introduction of new products the R7 series and mirror 5, we are confident of capturing 15% of the smartphone market in Sri Lanka by 2018."

The Oppo R7 series has registered impressive sales so far since its worldwide launch in June. Pre-sale orders sold out in overseas markets such as Malaysia and Taiwan while offline shipments topped one million units within the first month of sales in China alone, boosting the company's market share to be second to Apple in the country's offline smartphone markets for two consecutive months, a company spokesman said.
