APICTA 2015 on November 18

The APICTA - 2015 (Asia Pacific ICT 2015) organised by the Federation of Information Technology Industry Sri Lanka (FITIS) and BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT Sri Lanka Section, will be held from November 18-21 at the Cinnamon Lakeside.

The event is promoted by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) which is also the Silver sponsor.

APICTA, is the largest ICT awards ceremony in the Asia Pacific region, with the participation of around 650 ICT innovators, experts, investors, traders and entrepreneurs from 16 member countries. Many other ICT-related significant programs have been organized to run parallel to APICTA 2015 as it is an international event.

The other parallel events are: November 18-20 Asia Pacific ICT awards competition, November 21 - APICTA 2015 Awards ceremony, November 20-21 - APICTA 2015 Business Forum, November 20 - APICTA 2015 Students forum and November 20-22 - INFOTEL 2015 exhibition.

APICTA 2015 Business Forum supported by the Sri Lanka Export Development Board will be held from November 20-21 from 9.00 a.m to 6.00 p.m. at the Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel.

This will be an opportunity for SMEs to network with other entrepreneurs. Sri Lankan ICT industries will be exposed to various international markets and market entry points for business expansion. Foreign ICT companies will get to know the economic landscape in Sri Lanka and explore investment and joint venture opportunities.

Representatives from several countries including Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei, China, Hong Kong Indonesia, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand will attend APICTA 2015.
