CDB fetes customers

Citizens Development Business Finance PLC (CDB) organised a customer felicitation program at its new corporate Head Office recently. The state-of-the-art corporate head office augments CDB's corporate image.

Managing Director and CEO Mahesh Nanayakkara said, "We were a small player in this burgeoning industry twenty years ago, but having conceptualized and formulated a blueprint, building on our strengths and focusing on the future of identified opportunities, we have risen the ranks to maintain a formidable presence among the top NBFIs in Sri Lanka."

Felicitation of longstanding customers in conjunction with the CDB's 20th anniversary celebrations included a series of receptions in major cities covering CDB's branch network. Complimentary gifts were also presented to the customers.

CDB's journey of two decades denotes its passion and commitment to align and realize CDB's vision which is centered on the cornerstones of entrepreneurship, innovation and elevation of stakeholder lifestyles, a bank spokesman said.

A continuously evolving business model adopted by CDB strongly complements this journey where financial inclusion with access to finance aimed at the base of the pyramid markets, being a net lender to the rural economy and urban funding, he said.
