Neochem - sole agent for Mane products

Neochem International (Pvt) Limited, an innovative solution provider for chemical products, has been appointed as the sole agent for Mane, a French company which manufactures flavours and fragrances.

The affiliation between Neochem and Mane goes back a few years as the two companies have worked closely since 2012. During this time, the French giant has played an important role in boosting Neochem's presence in the Sri Lankan market by working together on innovative solutions, which Neochem has marketed to local manufacturers across different industries.

With this appointment, Neochem will promote all Mane products in Sri Lanka. The partnership gives the company the opportunity to provide innovative solutions, world-class R&D and customer service of international standard to all local manufacturers.

Neochem's R&D facility in Sri Lanka will continue to work closely with the state-of-the-art R&D facilities of Mane. Neochem employees have received advanced training at Mane's R&D centres and attend to customer needs in Sri Lanka supporting new product developments.

At this year's Fragrance Foundation Awards, which celebrates the global fragrance industry and its outstanding creative achievements in the world of perfumery, two Mane creations were rewarded. 'Si' by Giorgio Armani won the 'Fragrance of the Year' Award, in the 'Women's Prestige' category while 'Modern Man' by Banana Republic won the 'Fragrance of the Year' Award in the 'Men's Popular' category.

Neochem, which launched operations in 2009 as a technical solution provider for the cosmetics and detergent industry, currently consists of four business units - cosmetics and detergent raw material, food additives, food flavours and fragrances - providing products to local manufacturers.

Having commenced with a team of two people in 2009, today Neochem has a staff of fifteen and provides solutions to some of the leading FMCG companies in Sri Lanka.
