Mihin Lanka resumes flights to Male
Mihin Lanka recommenced flights to the Maldives on November 12, a
company official said. He said three weekly flights will be operated on
Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
The company will add another destination in the region to cater to
the Maldivians in Sri Lanka and those working in the Maldives.The
operation will help promote Sri Lanka's medical tourism industry among
the Maldivians.
Launched in 2007, Mihin Lanka serves corporate, business, pilgrim,
and leisure travellers with direct flights to destinations across the
Indian Subcontinent, Asia and the Middle East.
CASL inducts three Chartered Accountants
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CASL) recently
paid tribute to three chartered accountants by inducting them to the
Hall of Fame in recognition of their significant contribution towards
the development of the accounting profession, the business world and
society.
CASL bestowed the Hall of Fame honour for 2015 on Chartered
Accountants Bentotage Robert Lakshman Fernando, Fred H. Puvimanasinghe
and Prof. M. W. Wickramarachchi at the BMICH, Colombo recently.
BBDO wins award
BBDO Worldwide won the 'Network of the Year 2015' award at the 30th
London International Awards (LIA) last week
BBDO agency, BBDO Proximity Malaysia also won one of the coveted
Grand LIAs for its work for KFC, in the Poster category.
BBDO Worldwide was awarded one Grand LIA, 20 Gold, 22 Silver and 32
Bronze awards and a further 32 attained Finalist status.
This is the fourth time in five years that BBDO has been awarded the
Network of the Year title at the London International Awards, having
previously won it in 2014, 2012 and 2011. |
