Hemas Hospitals relaunches Maathru maternity package
Hemas Hospitals has relaunched its Maathru maternity package for
expectant mothers in celebration of 10,000 births at its hospitals.
A host of extra benefits have been added on to the maternity package
ensuring superior service delivery in maternity care, across their
multi-chain.
The new package was launched at Hemas Hospital, Wattala. The Chief
Guest was Director, Private Health Sector Regulatory Council, Dr Kanthi
Ariyaratne and Guest of Honour, Ms Lalitha Abeygunawardena, president,
Nursing Council of Sri Lanka. Managing Director, Hemas Hospitals, Dr
Lakith Peiris said, "Each delivery at any of the Hemas Hospitals
represents the dedicated work of our team of Consultant Obstetricians,
Gynaecologists and Paediatricians, nurses and the rest of the hospital's
medical staff, who are the backbone of our hospitals. Our clinicians and
services are always ready to handle every delivery situation."
While stepping into motherhood at Hemas Hospitals, each mother will
be showered with a host of gifts, including a savings account with HNB
for the new born, with an initial deposit of Rs 1,500. Gift packs of
baby toiletries, diapers and infant clothes, bottles and baby
accessories are also part of the package. The mum to be has access to
post-delivery care of the new born, including breast feeding, ante-natal
and other essential tips in coping with a new born.
Babies born under the Maathru package are also entitled to free
vaccinations and inoculations at Hemas Hospitals, up to 10 years of age.
The hospital's support facilities of Intensive Care Unit, surgical
theatres and blood bank, are available and accessible for any
emergencies.
The packaged maternity deal offers two packages, based on the needs
of parents.
The accreditation with Australian Council of Healthcare Standards
that has been conferred on Hemas Hospitals, ensures an extra level of
distinction to the overall standards.
