Tradlanka introduces Tilda Basmathi rice

The Food Industry and the quality of food products are constantly scrutinized by consumers, especially those who are health conscious and pursue an active lifestyle. Rice production is one of the most vital aspects of the global food industry. Globally, the annual production of rice stands at 495 million metric tons while rice consumption is at 483 million metric tons.

One of the leading rice millers in the country, Tradlanka Agricultural Enterprises (Pvt) Limited which markets the 'Ariya Rice' brand, with the global food company Hain Celestial Group', has introduced the rice brand 'Tilda' to the Sri Lankan market.

Tilda Basmathi rice is grown and harvested at the foothills of the Himalayas and known for its flavour, aroma and texture.

Tradlanka Agricultural Enterprises is honoured to give the people of Sri Lanka the opportunity to experience this world renowned Basmathi rice. Tradlanka Agricultural Enterprises has been in the rice milling and processing business for over 20 years and has won numerous industry awards, and was adjudged one of the best Food Processors in the country by the Sri Lanka Food Processors Association.

Tilda was the first company to bring Basmathi Rice to the Western world over 40 years ago and has become an international food brand in over 50 countries.

Tilda employs the latest DNA fingerprint technology and checks every batch of rice for quality and purity.
