Yohan de Silva does Lanka proud Down Under

Sri Lankan-born IT Consultant attached to the DWS in Adelaide, Australia Nape Rangagodage Yohan Dhanushka de Silva was recognised as the 'Young ICT Professional of the Year' at the ACS Digital Disruptors Awards held in Sydney, Australia recently. The only Sri Lankan ever to receive this much coveted award, Yohan also bagged the Runner-Up Award for the IT Consultant of the Year.

A past pupil of St. Joseph's College, Colombo 10, and the SLIIT, Yohan Dhanushka obtained his BSc and MSc degrees from the University of South Australia. The eldest son of Gerald Bernard de Silva (Retired Senior Fire Superintendent of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation) and Rohini de Silva (Manager, Bank of Ceylon, Hulftsdorp Branch), Yohan Dhanushka was a resident of Thalahena, Malabe.
