L.G.Singers at Bethel Chapel

The L.G. Singers will sing at the Bethel Chapel of the Seventh-Day Adventists, Alfred House Gardens, Kollupitiya on Friday, December 4 at 6.45 p.m.

The Singers will present 16 carols during the service.

Colombo YMCA Carol service

The annual Carol Service of the Colombo YMCA will be held on Saturday, December 5 from 5.30 p.m. at Wesley College Hall, Baseline Road, Colombo 9.

It is open to the public.

Jawaharlal Nehru memorial lecture tomorrow

The Coordinator of the Pali and Buddhist Studies Unit, University of Colombo will deliver the Jawaharlal Nehru memorial lecture, tomorrow, November 30 at 5.00 p.m. at the Indian Cultural Centre Auditorium, Colombo.

The lecture is organised by the Centre for Contemporary Indian Studies (CCIS), University of Colombo in collaboration with the Indian Cultural Centre.

Trinity Cadetting 125th anniversary

The Cadetting Unit of Trinity College, Kandy, will celebrate its 125th anniversary this year since its founding in 1890. The Past Cadets' Union of the College marks the anniversary with a ceremony and other events tomorrow, November 30, at 8.30 a.m., in the College premises.

Krishnamurti talk

A recorded public talk on 'Only in Peace can the Human Mind be Free' delivered by the late Indian sage, Jiddu Krishnamurti will be played at Anula Nursery School, High Level Road, Colombo 6, today, November 29 at 9.45 a.m.
