Sri Lanka rugby captain Fazil Marija has married television sports
personality Yasara Abeynayake and passionately defended tying the
nuptial knot with her.
The fleet-footed fly half on his Facebook page said he found the
perfect match after many seasons of trying without success.
"Finally got married after years of waiting for the perfect time and
perfect person. Not everyone is perfect but I was lucky to find the
person that is a perfect fit for me.
"There are many stories that people have made about my wife (Yasara)
in the past but I have checked and found out the truth. I decided to get
married knowing complete truth about her because she is the most honest,
straight forward and transparent person I have ever met in my life.
We have both lived different lives before we met but have chosen to
continue our lives from this day onward together as one", Marija posted
on his Facebook page.
Marija is also the captain of Kandy, one of the hot favourites to
lift the Cup in the current Premier league domestic season.
