Skeletal remains for foreign tests

The skeletal remains found at an alleged mass grave in Mannar will be sent overseas for DNA tests, legal sources disclosed. There is speculation that the remains of 88 bodies found in 2013 in the Thiruketheeswaran area could be of people who died in suspicious circumstances during the war.

Mannar Magistrate M. Alexrajah on Friday ordered the foreign tests.
