Test discard NCC’s Tharindu Kaushal (6 for 104) and Gayan Sirisoma of Galle CC 7 for 51 were among the wickets in the AIA Premier League Inter Club cricket tournament yesterday.

Tharindu Kaushal banned from bowling at international level due to his suspect action and Sirisoma produced useful spells for their respective sides.

New-comers to premier cricket Galle CC took first first inning points against NCC on day two in the AIA Premier League Inter club cricket tournament at the Galle International Cricket Stadum yesterday.

Galle CC were bowled out for 298 runs. Romesh Buddhika scored 137 runs facing 227 deliveries with 7 boundaries and a six while Romesh Buddhika and Damitha Hunukumbura (55) added 158 runs for 3rd wicket. Tharindu Kaushal of NCC took 6 wickets for 104 runs. NCC were bowled out for 136 runs. Gayan Sirisoma of Galle CC took 7 for 51. Galle CC scored 298 runs at close.
