Roofing sheets presented to Welikada Prison

sheets. |
Rhino Roofing Products Limited (RPPL) as a part of its CSR initiative
presented roofing sheets worth over one million rupees to the
restoration project at the Welikada Prisons Complex. The sheets were
presented to Prisons Commissioner Nishan Chandrajith Dhanasinghe at a
ceremony at the Colombo Remand Prison (CRP) premises.
Managing Director, Rhino Roofing Products Limited, Jeyaseelan Gnanam,
Director Jude Fernando, Chief Financial Officer Manoj Weeraman, and
Marketing Manager Priyantha Jayasinghe, Prisons Commissioner Nishan
Chandrajith Dhanasinghe, Prisons Commissioner for Rehabilitation Gamini
Jayasinghe, Chairman, Welfare Association of Prison Kanchana Eric
Sinharage and officials from the Prisons Department were also present.
The roofing sheets will be used for the restoration and
reconstruction of the children's hostel, women's hostel and officers'
quarters in the CRP premises. Colour-coated fibre-cement roofing sheets
were also presented to reconstruct the Budu Medura within the premises.
