Thirteen police officers transferred

Thirteen police officers including five Chief Inspectors and eight Police Inspectors were transferred with immediate effect due to service requirements, the Police Media Unit stated yesterday.

Chief Inspector A.A.W.J.S. Abeykoon, Headquarters Inspector of Nittambuwa Police has been transferred to the Ministers’ Security Division, Chief Inspector K.B.K.Perera, Padukka OIC has been transferred to the Colombo Division, Chief Inspector R.A.D.R. Mahesh, Manipai OIC has been transferred as Padukka OIC, Chief Inspector L A D Ratnaweera, Horowupathana OIC has been transferred as Passara OIC and K.M.R.S.B. Kumarasekara, Hasalaka OIC has been transferred as Sapugaskanda OIC.

IP H.P.N.D. Jayaweera has been transferred as Manipai OIC from Elpitiya Division, Giribawa OIC U.K.N. Jayaweera has been transferred to the Colombo Division, Tanamalwila OIC K.V.C. Deepal has been transferred as the Giribawa OIC while IP C.S.Panawala transferred as the Thanamalwila OIC from IGP Commanding Information Division.

IP K.M.A.K. Konara, Habbegamuwa OIC has been transferred to the Puttalam Division and K.P. P.Silva has been transferred as Habbegamuwa OIC from Kalutara Division.

IP P.S.R. Sanjaya, Sapugaskanda OIC has been transferred as Horowupathana OIC and Passara OIC IP T.M. Rathnayaka has been transferred as Hasalaka OIC.
